This beautiful wooden Arabic letters and numbers stamp set from @dstampss is our newest obsession.
The boys and I have been loving using them to make various craft projects and they’re a really fun way to get my younger son Mikael, to practice the Arabic numbers, alphabets and sounds.
These stamps will make a great gift for the little people in your life. They’re beautiful, durable, versatile and super fun. They’re sure to leave a lasting ‘impression’ (see what I did there!? 😂) on their little minds and possibly even their hands. Just kidding - they wash right off their hands ;Fun and Easy DIY Bookmarks with Arabic Letter Stamps
Materials You'll Need:
-
Blank bookmarks or sturdy cardstock
-
Ribbons or tassels
-
Embellishments (stickers, glitter, etc.)
-
Craft glue
Let's Get Crafting:
-
Choose Your Base: Start with a blank bookmark or cut out your own from cardstock. Think about the size—too big might look odd, while too small won't hold all your creative ideas.
-
Ink It Up: Pick your favorite ink colors. Don't be shy; the brighter, the better! This is where the fun begins. Tap your Arabic letter stamps into the ink and start stamping away. You could spell out names, inspirational words, or just create abstract patterns. There's no right or wrong here!
-
Add Some Flair: Once your ink dries, it's time to jazz things up. Add ribbons or tassels to the top of your bookmark for that extra oomph. Glue them securely, and make sure they complement your stamping masterpiece.
-
Embellish Away: Here's where your inner artist shines. Decorate with stickers, sprinkle some glitter, or anything else that tickles your fancy. Remember, the goal is to make it uniquely yours.
-
Personal Touches: For an extra special touch, add a handwritten note on the back. Maybe a quote that inspires you or a message to a friend if you're gifting it.
-
Seal the Deal: To make your bookmark last, consider laminating it or covering it with clear adhesive paper. This step is especially helpful if you're using glitter or other loose embellishments.
-
Gift or Cherish: Now that you've created your masterpiece, decide: Will you keep it, or is it a gift? Either way, you've created something special that's sure to bring smiles and a bit of personality to any reading session.
And there you have it—a quick, fun, and creative way to make personalized bookmarks using Arabic letter stamps. Not only have you created a unique accessory for your books, but you've also embraced the beauty of Arabic script and made it a part of your daily life.
